Festive Styling 101

As you know, the festivities have set in, and are booming rapidly. Every Instagram page, or blog, or website suggests what to buy, wear, or eat this festive reason. I’m not one those those suggestive websites, instead I’m going to show you how I have styled myself in a variety of looks for this season.

I have always loved brocade anything, and when i got my hands on this brocade dupatta, i had to include it in my Diwali outfit series. Giving you some bengali looks with this red bindi, and red bangles, i wore this brocade dupatta as a jacket, on these brocade embroidered pants, and a black tube top.

This could be the perfect cards, or choti ( small) Diwali pre Diwali, outfit. Its easy and none fussy and easy to whip up.

The next outfit i styled was this stunning green spaghetti kurta and skirt, from the Dhoom Dhaam wedding, collections! It was a super styling series and i wanted to include it here for inspiration. I love bottle green, and with a little gold work, it passes off without looking tacky and OTT. Necklace by Aaharya, and this stunning outfit is by designer duo, Dhristi & Zahabia.

The next outfit i styled for the Dhoom Dhaam series was this stunning and so versatile sheer jacket with this knee length dress, breaking stereo types, sort of dressing for festive and traditional seasons. Wearing this jacket and dress by Shraddha Rambia, and this mang tikka by Suhani Pittie, I absolutely love this piece and how it feels when it compliments each outfit. Keeping the makeup super simple and adding a whip of red lipstick and voila, you are good to go! 🙂

I hope you like these outfits I’ve styled and hope you tag me in your posts on Instagram while dressing up for diwali.
